I remember the moment this track “clicked”, I was convinced it was the greatest piece of music I had created. And that validated the intuitive process I had been following over the second half of this album.
I am writing this reflection about nine months later, and I still think it is one of the strongest pieces of music I have created, but I now see that I have also created several others, which used open-source processes, and still hit in strongly emotional ways.
Though I will admit that “times” hits a fusion between Midwest Emo and Dark Ambient that I do love.
