There feels like an interesting trend where my favourite track on each album ends up being the 2nd or 3rd to last one on the album. It makes sense given that I have more experience by that track. Maybe there is a special energy behind feeling like we are near the end of a project. Who knows!
There’s not a lot to explain on this one, other than I am very proud with how it blends catchy melodies, instrument switching, pitch bends, bass line variation, and other techniques I had picked up along my Game Boy music journey.
It’s also probably worth mentioning that I was listening to a lot of T-Square at the time, and very interested in making genuinely positive vibes in my music – in the same Japanese Jazz-Fusion style of 90s game music.
