I stand quietly in the corner of Hub A1, keeping out of the way of the entrance class introduction. It’s hard to believe it’s been thirteen years since I was in these azure halls, overlooking this polychromatic island.
I was almost halfway through my studies when I came across the Cruise Diaries of Aster Delfin in the Academy Island’s Library Unit. Reading the hundred-year-old explorations of the Racer-turned-Travel-Writer opened up my world. He was writing in a time when the Intersteller Racing Federation was the most popular sport across The Weave. This was a time before DigiChip was DigiChip, and its precursor of Fivemasters was being played on the precursor of the HoloNet.
Now I am back with my old Island, but I am new. This time I am, too, something of a travel writer.
